About Portable Bidet Canada – Our Story

PortableBidet is a Canadian-owned and operated brand offering rechargeable electric bidets and reusable water-bag accessories. Our Canadian range includes the V1 final-sale model, V2 travel kits and the 2-in-1 shower-sprayer kit. Compare each model’s contents and controls, or read our setup and care guides before choosing.

We started with one frustrating night in Ontario – and built a Canadian-owned portable bidet brand designed for portable water-based hygiene.

The Origin Story

It started on a cold winter weekend at Blue Mountain, Ontario.
Founder Hussan was stuck in a frustrating situation – no bidet, no clean water source, and no real hygiene option available in the middle of the night. Years of trying cheap, underperforming portable bidet sprayers that clogged, leaked, or barely produced any pressure had led to this moment.
That night, the decision was made: enough settling. It was time to build a portable bidet designed for Canadians.
Hussan set out to design a portable bidet sprayer that was genuinely compact, genuinely powerful, and genuinely built for everyday Canadian life – whether that means a ski weekend in Whistler, a summer camping trip in Algonquin, or just maintaining proper hygiene while traveling for work.
For Hussan, water-based cleansing wasn’t just a preference – it was a necessity rooted in faith and culture. As a Muslim, using water for personal hygiene (istinja and wudu) is a daily practice, not a luxury. But finding a reliable, truly portable solution that worked in Canadian winters, remote campsites, and on-the-go travel? That didn’t exist, so he worked with a team to bring one to the masses.
The result is PortableBidet – a Canadian-owned, Canadian-operated brand that puts real hygiene first.

The Solution: Compact, Powerful, and Portable

Most travel bidets on the market make you choose – either they are small enough to carry but too weak to actually clean, or they are powerful but too bulky to bother bringing along.

We refused to accept that tradeoff.

Our electric portable bidet was engineered to deliver all four things that every Canadian traveler, camper, and daily user actually needs:

  • Full water pressure

A strong, consistent spray that does the job properly every time. No squeezing, no struggling, no weak dribble. Just a proper clean.

  • Dual spray modes

Switch between a gentle rinse and a powerful deep clean. Whether you need a quick freshen-up at the office or a thorough wash after a long hike, one button does it all.

  • Long battery life

USB-C rechargeable and built to last. A 1600mAh battery gives roughly 2–3 hours to fully charge and about 60–100 minutes of total operating time, depending on mode and use.

  • True portability

Lightweight enough for a carry-on, small enough for a glovebox, and discreet enough for a gym bag. This is what a real portable travel bidet should feel like.

Our Mission: Clean People, Clean Planet

Hussan always believed a product should do more than solve one problem. PortableBidet was built to make a broader impact – on personal hygiene, on the environment, and on your wallet.

A reusable PortableBidet can meaningfully cut down on single-use wipes and tissues over its lifetime — actual reduction depends on how often it’s used.

We are proud to be a Canadian eco-friendly bidet brand. Here is what switching to PortableBidet actually means:

  • Replaces Hundreds of Wipes

A single portable bidet can meaningfully cut down on disposable wipes over its lifetime — that’s waste you reduce, not create in the first place.

  • Helps Reduce Paper Use

Toilet paper production contributes to tree loss every year. A portable bidet can reduce reliance on disposable toilet paper; actual environmental impact depends on usage.

  • Cuts Landfill Waste

Wipes and paper products add to landfill waste. Making the switch to water-based cleaning can reduce reliance on disposable wipes and toilet paper; actual environmental impact depends on usage.

  • Saves You Money

Toilet paper is a recurring cost that adds up year after year. A portable bidet is a one-time purchase that can reduce how much you spend on paper products over time.

Our Values

Clean hygiene should not be a luxury. Whether you are traveling across provinces, managing a disability at home, performing Istinja as a Muslim user, or simply living an active Canadian lifestyle – everyone deserves to feel genuinely clean, anywhere and anytime. Our personal bidet is designed to be accessible for all.
We built PortableBidet because we believe the era of single-use wipes and excess toilet paper needs to end. Our eco-friendly bidet is rechargeable, reusable, and built to last – because the most sustainable product is one you keep using for years.
The best handheld bidet sprayer is not just about spray pressure. It is about smart design – the right size, the right weight, the right charge time, and the right modes for real situations. We obsess over the details so you never have to think twice about using it.

Meet Our Founder

Hussan is a Canadian entrepreneur who believes that small daily habits can drive big change. After years of frustrating experiences with low-quality portable bidet sprayers, he set out to create something better – a product that actually works, actually lasts, and actually makes hygiene easier for Canadians on the go.

PortableBidet is not just a product to Hussan. It is a mission to modernize personal hygiene across Canada – from urban apartments in Toronto to campsites in the Yukon – while reducing the environmental damage caused by our throwaway habits.

“This project combines my passion for clean living and protecting our planet. Portable Bidet is our way to make a real impact—healthier people, healthier Earth.”
